Hyperion X7.3

Lowest dosage

Thanks to high-efficiency 14-bit detectors, a truly constant potential X-ray generator, and smart X-ray collimation, dosage goes from a mere 1.0 µSv for cephalometric examinations to 6.7 µSv in the case of panoramic scans. These values are among the very lowest in the field of dental radiography.

Dynamic Transversal SlicingHyperion X7.2

DTS provides numerous cross-sections orthogonal to the focal trough and is just one of 40 diagnostic programs available on Hyperion X7. All possible 2D requirements for panoramic and cephalometric examinations are amply catered for as well as 14 TMJ and 3 Maxillary Sinus examinations.
Particularly useful to implantologists, the DTS examination allows you to inspect a surgical site browsing its cross-sections in sequence on a PC and measuring in 1:1 scale with 0.15mm pixel precision. With DTS capability, you no longer need to resort to a CT scan if you are dealing with single implant sites.

Hyperion X7.1

Variable collimation

Equipped with a servo-controlled primary collimator, examinations are tailored to expose no more than the area required, thus reducing dosage wherever possible.

Another collimator which automatically extends and retracts from the rotating block acts as a secondary, precision collimation device for cephalometric examinations.

Removable sensorHyperion X7.4

Whereas a second sensor for cephalometric exams is available, it is not a mandatory choice.

MyRay provides a relocatable option. One sensor, which can be switched to and from the ceph arm and which incorporates no-risk safety features to prevent it being dislodged accidentally.
